Research groups

As a research centre, IIDL is aware of the important role we can play in promoting and shaping scientific activity in the Valencian Community through the various lines of research that our teaching staff pursue. Thus, at present, five research groups coexist within the institute.

Group 1: Regional Economics and Local Development (REALD)

Local development, regional economics, territorial organization, environment, tourism, international cooperation, social capitalism, human development, population, migrations, industrial districts, social inclusion.

Group 4: Global Consciousness and Attentive Organizations (GLOBCONS)

New Technologies and Human Resources Organization. Motivation, Attitudes and Virtual Interaction, Organizational Behaviour, E-Learning and Virtual/Presential Interactive Learning Environments, cyberpsychology.

Community psychology, social services, social innovation, social inclusion, vulnerable groups, employability, socio-labor insertion, third sector, local community development, social support, social capital, human development, development cooperation, psychosocial intervention emergencies, resilience, active aging, gender and employment, Gender roles, social vulnerability and urbanism, geographic information systems applied to the study of social welfare, social policy, participatory methods related to IPT and EPT (participatory video, etc.).
